Waltraud Ziervogel at Konnopke’s Imbiss: Re-inventing a Berlin Icon(languages: English, German)

What can Berlin’s most famous currywurst stand teach us about strategic positioning? Among other things, it shows that it is sometimes better to do nothing than to run around frantically making changes at any cost. For this case study on Konnopke’s Imbiss, authors Prof. Dr. Veit Etzold and Dr. Urs Müller of the European School of Management and Technology won a European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) award in the ‘Family Business’ category. They were also featured in the international Financial Times and the German newspaper BILD.
