Prof. Veit Etzold is a management consultant, keynote speaker and 10-time Spiegel bestselling author. In 2019, he was named number one sales and marketing influencer on ERFOLG Magazin’s Top 100. He attained his Global Executive MBA at the Barcelona, Madrid, Silicon Valley and New York branches of the IESE Business School and at CEIBS in Shanghai. Following a long and distinguished career in management, he achieved his breakthrough as a thriller author with Final Cut in 2012. In addition, he is a successful non-fiction author: his German-language work ‘Der weiße Hai’ im Weltall – Storytelling für Manager was named a top 10 career book for 2013, while Strategie: Planen – Erklären – Umsetzen was featured on Manager Magazin’s bestseller list for business titles.

As a bestselling author, he understands what makes a story great and how to pique the attention of an audience. Most importantly, he knows how to use a good story to explain and sell strategies, products and ideas more effectively.

Veit’s storytelling expertise is expertly intertwined with business know-how from 18 years of management experience across the banking, insurance, strategy consulting and executive education sectors. This, in turn, is combined with wisdom from his current consulting practice as well as with academic knowledge and research insights from his work as a professor.

He has held a professorship at Aalen University since 2017, where he teaches on strategy, marketing strategy and market research, marketing and positioning, sales, corporate storytelling and neuro-marketing. He previously held guest lecturer posts at renowned colleges, business schools and universities including Mannheim Business School, ESMT Berlin, the University of St. Gallen and Zurich University of Applied Sciences. As director of the Competence Centre for Neuromarketing and Corporate Storytelling, he collaborates on exciting projects with corporations and hidden champions and incorporates the latest insights into his keynote speeches and workshops.

As an expert for strategy, storytelling and corporate communication, Veit has advised clients from a range of sectors: from banks, consultancies and IT to pharmaceuticals and automotive.
